I have WD40EZRC 4TB BLUE SATA drive with controller board series 2060-800055-002 REVP1.
The connector socket was damaged and I need to replace. My research shows that if I buy a replacement board I may have to solder in my old BIOS from the damaged board.
Is that the case for this particular drive. If so, do you offer the service where I send you my damaged board and you swap the BIOS to a new or refurb board?
We just sell PCB.
You can move the BIOS from your original PCB by using hot-air gun, then solder it on the replacement board. Please refer: https://www.hddzone.com/hard_drive_pcb_firmware_transfer.html. Or you can find an electronics repair shop help you.
